TeamLava's made a name for itself with a series of freemium iPhone and iPad games that let you run a farm, restaurant and bakery. Now the publisher wants everyone to raise the roof with Nightclub Story, a free to play App that lets users customize their own clubs, giving them the opportunity to obsess over the dance floor, mixed drinks and decor. Although it contains flashes of brilliance, a lack of challenge and high prices make it a step below the competition.

Before Midway went belly up, the company planned to release a title for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 called This is Vegas, a Grand Theft Auto inspired action game that let the player wear many different hats, from compulsive gambler to, interestingly enough, nightclub promoter. Once inside, users could serve drinks and cut a rug on the dance floor to get the party started.
