PSychic Gamers: Batman Arkham Asylum Review

For R834's first review, he is reviewing one of his favourite games of 2009, Batman: Arkham Asylum.
"Joker has broken out of Arkham Asylum and is causing mayhem in Gotham City. Luckily, Batman is quick on the case and captures him, returning Joker back to Arkham Asylum, now a temporary home to many sane but violent Blackgate Prison inmates. At this point, Joker escapes into the Asylum and reveals his plan was to get Batman into asylum, and proceeds to lock down the island. With full control over the asylum, Joker opens up the cells and begins to wreak havoc. This is where we step into the shoes of Bruce Wayne's alter ego, to put a stop to Joker's maniacal plans - and all in the space of just one night."

Well Deserved, can't wait for Arkham City

A tad late to the party, are we?

Yeah, but only because we're a tad late to the whole 'having a website' party.

I thought it said "Arkham City" review, then I saw the reviewer was Psychic Gamers. Thought it was a joke, had a laugh.

Arkham Asylum was one of the better games of this gen but some of the boss fights were a bit repetitive. Would probably go 9/10 for that reason. I'm sure that won't be the case in Arkham City.

still haven't picked this game up yet and it's only $15 at FS. i guess i could bite but what console should i get it on?

If you have a good PC, then the extra graphical quality and the PhysX may swing your decision that way.

Otherwise, either PS3 or 360, depending on what you have.

It's a great game, and well worth a cheap price.

i have all three but i mostly leave PC gaming to my MMO's and strat games.

i guess i can head over to LoT/DF to decide.
