5 Games that Should Be at E3 2011 and Probably Won’t Be

GameDynamo - "You want them, you need them, but they’re nowhere to be seen. We’re talking about the sequels everybody’s hoping for but never show up. We know GameInformer will be unveiling a highly anticipated sequel next month, yet we feel it won’t be any of the ones we’re thinking of.

Even if E3 has plenty of surprises in store for gamers, these games probably won’t make the cut. We don’t mean to be pessimistic, but we’ve been heart-broken before, so we might as well be prepared for what’s NOT to come."

Freedom Fighters 2.

Bring it.

afterMoth5197d ago

Hell yes, Freedom Fighters is awesome.

Starhawk
Maximo 3
Tobal No. 3
Pitfighter 2011

Winning5197d ago

Pitfighter huh? Are you referring to that old Arcade fighter from back in early 90's?

HolyOrangeCows5197d ago (Edited 5197d ago )

Freedom Fighters is one of the few games that I really wanted to have a cover system. Like towards the beginning, going underground into that tunnel...if you got behind the pillar things against the wall, you'd just be shooting the wall, and you'd still be getting shot at.

Hopefully FF2 has a cover system. Unless the level design changes structure.

I suspect we'll finally get a glimpse at Pikmin 3. Hopefully.

Well Pikmin 3 better be there! Or else... Miyamoto is in trouble. They'll probably announce MGS 5 too although they might not show it

Shok5197d ago (Edited 5197d ago )

Pikmin 3 will be announced for sure. Miyamoto said back in June 2008 that Pikmin 3 was in development. It's 3 years later. Even if it's not released this year it should be shown at least.

If they do announce Resident evil 6 I hope its more like RE5. I thought RE5 was a perfect game. It was so fun to play with my friends in the co op so at the least keep the co op.

#1 Game that Should Be at E3 2011... Shenmue 3.

I'd be satisfied with Shenmue and Shenmue II in HD though.

Oh….wow, RE6 huh….urm, cool, just what we always wanted.

EW
NOOOOOOOOOO
In what mind make sense to do this with the worse game on the series 🤦🏿

DivineHand125152d ago

I loved Resident Evil 4 back in the day and enjoyed Resident Evil 5 even though I had to do co-op to beat the final boss. Shiva was just too dumb.

Resident Evil 6 on the other hand, was so bad that I stopped playing after an hour in the game. That was before I even played any high-quality single-player games outside of Mass Effect, Portal, and Skyrim. I can't imagine playing RE6 now.

Chances are their next remake will be 5.

Profchaos152d ago

I just don't get why it's already on the platforms via BC unless it's a remake which would piss everyone off as fans are hoping for either the original game or code veronica to get the remake treatment

Isn’t it already backwards compatible?

CoPilot: Gaming Chat is an amazing revelation - A true gamer friend at your side

CG writes: In this video, we take Microsoft's Copilot for a spin and talk about gaming and AI influences, and the implications of that. We talked about a possible Metal Gear Solid V remaster, Deus Ex remaster, Hitman Blood-Money mission, and more. Imagine trying to talk gaming with non-gaming friends in real-life and after 5 seconds, they switch off and possibly yawn. Well, CoPilot isn't like that, instead it's like talking to a like-minded gaming fan who is totally on your level. The public version of CoPilot released in Feb 2023 and already it's become almost indistinguishable from a real person.
