DelbertGrady is mad because he doesn't own a PS3 and Twisted Metal never really appealed to Europeans as much as Americans.

Who knows what the meta score for Twisted Metal will be? Some reviewers may have never even played a Twisted game before so maybe they might bash it because they suck at it. I know I'm going to love Twisted Metal because I loved all the games in the series. TM is a great series and Jaffe says this is gonna be the best one in the series. I'm dying to play it. It's already my GOTY. The game is a 10/10.

Why are you gamers being so negative towards a game that is going to be more fun and unique than most games of this whole generation? Eat Sleep Play are trying harder than most devs out there. Making Twisted Metal relevant again is no easy task. Everything I've read about the game so far has me confident that Twisted Metal is coming back in a big way and it's here to stay. Move over FPS games, Twisted Metal is going to shit all over you.

According to this Zelda is GOTY, LA Noire is runner up. I wouldn't mind if that happened in all honesty, but others I can't agree with... Forza a 90%? I doubt that.

The Last Guardian a 93%? Possible, but I could see it getting a 98% on MetaCritic. The Witcher 2 will very likely get higher than 80% too.

How can you predict: Story, gameplay and quality without ever playing the game.

The scores is base on hype/previous iteration(if applies)/ and or developers history and in some cases, fanboys. Yeh it stupid but the whole metacritic is flaw in the first place.

I think these predictions are a little out of touch and most of them should be a lot higher.

How can you predict the quality of the game before even playing it? Easy. You look at the development team behind the title, and there past works. For example Rockstar has never received a metacritic score of below 90 (to my knowledge) for any of there games. Plus it's Rockstar, they tend to be like Activision in where they have that extra "umph" with scoring.

Then we can look at a title like Brink. It's a new ip. It could be good, it could be bad. The dev team splashdown doesn't have a shining resume, and they've really only made racing games in the past. Thus your kinda eh as to where it's going to end up. New ip's rarely get 90+ scores, and the dev team isn't known for AAA award winning titles, thus you can say it's going to end up in this range (most likely).

Granted nothing is set in stone. In a gaming year there's series of disappointments, and series of games that no one saw coming, and won tons of awards the following year.

Well technically Bully and Red dead Revolver,manhunt 2, the whole midnight club series,the wariors etc... have all scored under 90% then you have to take into consideration that rockstar isn't making this next game. But I do get what you are saying.
