Nvidia GeForce GTX 590 Review: Dual-GPU Wars

Both AMD and NVidia failed with their dual GPU cards. Honestly, I'm not surprised though as there can't be a huge market for these as crossfile/SLI is a much better path. I wonder if they just make these for publicity as I can't imagine they even break even on these beasts.

Basically, interesting, but impractical.

These cards are selling like hotcakes!

a single card is always better than a Cf or SLi set up because it has NO micro stutter and the drivers tend to have less issues than a dual card set-up. plus your only taking up one PCIe slot, cooler temps and lower watts.

sure a CF or SLi set-up may have better performance numbers which in this case only a 580gtx Sli and Hd6970 CF set-up being the only two but the convenience of 1 card is more appealing especially across multiple monitors in which case that's what these cards are made for.
