Joystiq: Yakuza 4 Review

What a game. I passed a few dozen hours leading a contingent of scumbags-with-hearts-of-gold through a convoluted gangster soap opera full of betrayals, redemptions, posturing, overdramatic gestures, and profoundly awkward dates, and played Boxcelios 2 in the Club Sega arcade on Theater Square when I didn't feel like doing any of that stuff. Even if you never think of Kamurocho as a real place, it's a great place to hang out.

The story is too old to be commented.

Nice, what would you classify this game as? A fighting/action adventure RPG/JRPG or somesing?

Or more / less, Action RPG for short.

Thanks. Action RPG like Mass Effect? Or less

I could roughly describe this series like Grand Theft Auto world with RPG elements.

However this series is not fully open world like GTA, so you couldn't kill / steal anyone / anything.

It is much an RPG than "open world" / "sandbox" game...

Added with it's beat-em-up battle system:

And it's contents = Yakuza game.

Kiryu Kazuma ass cant be kicked. He even kicked the other three main character's asses. Trying to learn some of the games to get the trophy but damn time consuming. I need more of the cheat items for easy wins.
