IGN writes "Madden NFL Football on the 3DS reminded me of how I enjoyed sports games when I was a kid, and not in a good way. When I was young, I'd tear open that morning's issue of Newsday and pour over the box scores. My friends and I would create fantasy leagues for the MLB and NHL based on these box scores, keeping track of our stats by hand. Before long, my love of statistics combined with the video games I was playing. Early sports games on the SNES didn't have season modes, so I'd keep intricate stats of my own to make up for what titles like NHL '93 lacked."
This is my breakdown of the gameplay and presentation trailers released today by EA. I saw a lot of really good things in those videos, some being better tackling, better zone coverage, custom playbooks, team entrances, and cheerleaders.....

I tried this out, this was a sad excuse for a launch title. Had essentially no features the 3DS showed off.
STO Writes:
Just like with the Wii, EA have grasped the basic principles of the 3DS, with great graphics, a clutter free main screen supplemented by an easy to use touch screen and plenty of hand holding for those new to the sport. Overall Madden is a great pick up and play game, but also a long burner due to the included full season mode.
