@NYC_Gamer

HEADSHOTSSSSS! loool

yes i agree I hate Micro because they destroy FFXIII and make it RPG game not FF RPG game

Shackdaddy8365197d ago (Edited 5197d ago )

I can see why they would do it. If they show Crysis 2 on full settings for the first time on their card it will make it look better than all the rest which means more $$$$. At least, thats what I would do if I was the head of Nvidia....

Plus, Nvidia payed Crytek $2 mill. during development. That money couldn't have just gone to slapping an Nvidia logo on Crytek's game...

Solid_Snake-5197d ago (Edited 5197d ago )

for $2mill yes it is for the logo. to have there logo which states "nvidia...the way its meant to be played" slapped all over the box and loading screen.
meaning people see that and think ohh they must do good cards.......SOLD.

its called marketing. and it isnt cheap but pays off.

Solid_Snake-5197d ago

they wouldnt. its bullshit. you think crytek would do a stupid thing like that for $2mill.

Note "that the DirectX 11 support will only work for GTX 580 and nothing else on the market"
Am I missing something here my card supports DX11 its not a GTX 580, so Nvidia lying saying my card and many others that Support DX11 dont then. Dont think so, this is a bullshit article

bumnut5197d ago

must be BS because Nvidia are advertising the 560 as the card to buy to play Crysis 2

Pandamobile5197d ago

"Note that the DirectX 11 support will only work for GTX 580 and nothing else on the market."

Where the f**k is the source on that?

Mista T5197d ago

that's bullsh*t, and a shotty marketing technique.

Shackdaddy8365197d ago (Edited 5197d ago )

Thats not true and I don't even see how they can make that work. I mean, they would just get so much flak that no amount of money from Nvidia would compensate for loss of sales.

Jacobite5197d ago

I know, its illegal to advertise a product that supports DX11 and cant play a game that has DX11, so what their saying if you have a GTX460 etc it wont play crysis 2 with DX11 total bullshit.

hoops5197d ago

Rumors...sounds BS to me. Lets wait and see when the truth hits. Sounds like a Sarah Palin Speech to me. All BS.

Queefy_B5197d ago

F*ck nvidia us ati users get the shaft again.

Shackdaddy8365197d ago

I know. It sucks. At least some devs like DICE support ATI more...

NVIDIA’s RTX 50 “Blackwell” architecture has been a bit of a bore for us gamers. Apart from Multi Frame Generation, which has limited use-case scenarios, there isn’t much to be excited about.
