We all know that wrestling is fake, but this game is so unrealistic its awesome. This game’s over the top nature never ceases to amaze me. There are so many things that just don’t make any sense, but it’s beyond funny and awesome.
What classic WWF/WWE wrestling games are worth playing now? Quite a few, actually.
WCW/NWO World Tour and Wrestlemania 2000 were peak wrestling games. Back when wrestling was at the top of pop culture, everyone in school would watch. The gameplay is phenomenal and create your own characters opened up the door to WCW vs WWF. What a time!
The best wrestling games range from all-time classics on the N64 all the way up to some surprising new hitters you should check out.
I was always partial to the arcade wrestling games like Saturday night slam masters, wwf superstars, wrestlefest, wrestlemania, wrestle war and then a NES classic... pro wrestling. By the time the N64 era of wrestling games happened, I wasnt into wrestling much anymore (tv & games).
Virtual Pro Wrestling 1 & 2 > Most games on that list.
Also, WCW/NWO Revenge should be #2 minimum.
WWE 2k13 thanks to the WWE Attitude Mode. Followed by WWE Attitude and ECW Hardcore Evolution.
also: ECW! ECW! ECW!
There's been so many great wrestling games throughout the years. But this list of the 10 best wrestling games of all time will crown one true champion.
wrestling is fake? WTF? I want proof! /s
The game has really surprised me. Easy to play but hard to master. And it's a lot of fun if you've got someone to play with.
Wrestling games haven't been good since Here Comes The Pain and based on the WWE Allstar demo, the trend continues. Right off the back, the choices of Ultimate Warrior and Rey Msyterio is odd.
But so far I don't like the gameplay or the controls. I still find it strange that wrestling games still have to load during entrance and matches. wrestling games( and sports games ) haven't evolved this gen. alot of these games are released on PS2 aswell and are only separated by graphic increase.
im actually going to play the demo more (like with a friend) so don't take my thoughts on WWE AllStars too seriously.
