Infogrames to eject most of Atari board in bid to spur unit's recovery

Games maker Infogrames Entertainment said it has decided to eject most of the board members of its loss-making Atari Inc unit and have a new board name a 'chief restructuring officer' as part of the recovery plan for Atari that it launched last month.

Five Atari directors will leave, three will stay and new directors will be nominated to round out the board.
