Success largely lies in how you utilise the Nanosuit, and that’s something you have to learn. Crytek does its best to ease players in, offering playlists restricted to new players for example, but the learning curve is still pretty steep. For me, it took a few games before everything clicked, but when it did, multiplayer became fun times.
And that’s the overall Crysis 2 experience in a nutshell: there’s a lot of fun to be had, but you have to work to get it. It’s worth the effort though, because when you do break through to the fun, you won’t want to put the game down.
