PAX East: IDGA Talks Games Industry & Career Opportunities [Game Rant]

Dwayne Holder writes, "The IDGA (International Game Developers Association) held a panel at PAX East 2011 which briefly discussed the state of the industry, learning more towards the options available for those who want to break into game development.

On the panel was: John Comes (Creative Director of Uber Entertainment), Lindsey McQueeney (Recruiter for 38 Studios), Jim Rivers (Hiring Manager, Obsidian Entertainment) and Mary-Margaret Walker (CEO & Founder, Mary-Margaret Network). All four have extensive experience in hiring new members to development teams and had some very sound advice for those hoping to get their foot in the door at a video game company."
