The best graphics after Crysis and Killzone 2
but nasim i don't really want to know what your like when you see or play games like this. Thats a pretty ugly picture. It sounds like you get like get turned on by it or something and explode in your pants. nevermind.
it has ps3's game of the year written all over.. whats more impressive is that ratchet also has that written all over it as well. it will be close. but i seriously cant wait for either. and Snoop thats was hilarious "It sounds like you get like get turned on by it or something and explode in your pants." lol!!!! quote of the day
I love how you can change weapons in real time, that's one thing I wish would occur in MGS 4. Uncharted looks to be the best game this year for PS3, hopefully it's over 12 hours long, could care less about multiplayer, that's why i have Warhawk.
Deathmatch with jump, climb, cover, shoot, run, roll, punch, kick....repeat OMG. That would be great so. Have to wait for Uncharted 2 and hopefully FULLY destructible environment. A must buy
It's gotten a lot smarter and more aggressive than the TGS/Leipzig builds, which is great. It actually feels like he's fighting real people.
Looks cool, can't wait for a PSN demo.
I think at this point in games. We can look at videos and know exactly how its going to play. This is one game I plan to lock all of my doors on.
It looks so awesome.
I love that they finally understood that they can add multiple animations to a character doing the same task, just as they would in real life. If anything, this is a good new genre of game that future developers will mold into things I cant imagine. The platform part of this game for me seems stunning, and then how it flawlessly turns into gunplay. With Tombraider, gunplay really felt secondary. My only concern is that there may be too much gunplay, but even then I am sure it will be an entertaining game. A good balance like an Indiana Jones film would be nice. They seemed to really care about the adventure and plot of the story. Seriously, who the hell comes up with DRAKE the pirate as an idea for a videogame? That right there is just hilariously creative. I suggest everyone download that preview video on PSN for this game. These videos here and on gametrailers do it absolutely NO justice. I agree with Naism that the graphics are on par with Killzone2. The Trees themselves are amazingly detailed and shaded. The light that is cast has shows in the translucent effect on leaves. Naughty dog really has an eye for detail. The water looks photoreal. Think about a clear pond or waterfall when you are looking at them. I don't think the vegetation moves out of the way as well as crysis though. It seems to just have a few scripted animations depending on what direction you hit them at. I don't know about you guys, but I am really looking for a wind of change with the PS3. FPS'S & Shooters are fun and all, but I want to solve some puzzles, doing some creative lever pulls, and just taking a break.
Problem with Crysis is that as soon as you leave the jungle, the game is really not all that interesting, a bit like F.E.A.R; sterile, plain and uninspired. In Uncharted, the jungle looks as good as in Crysis. I don't know if it behaves as sophisticated as in Crysis, but the visual appeal is just as good if not better IMHO. Plus, Uncharted is absolutely stunning when moving indoors as well. The Crysis team focused way too much on the vegetation aspect of the game, and what we'll end up with is an inconsistent experience. Don't believe me? Compare the indoor and outdoor screenies yourself: What we like - outdoors in Crysis: http://pcmedia.ign.com/pc/i... What we don't like - indoors in Crysis: http://pcmedia.ign.com/pc/i... In short, I really just see Crysis as a tech-demo, no more. They have awesome technologies but all they do is really displaying it.
That was a great post, could not have said it better myself. Gameon peace ps. gave you bubbs homes
Gonna be a good one.If you got a PS3 you may want to pick this up this November I know I'm going to.
I already own a PS3 and my brother is getting a 40GB for Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, so yes this will sell systems.
The developers of ratchet and clank and jak and daxter. Both of their PS3 exclusives, though taken in a completely different direction than their normal games, look to be the top two games for the consoles Those games being Resistance:Fall of Man, which really doesnt get enough credit, easily a 9/10 And Uncharted which seems to be shaping up as a 9.5/10 right now. Day one purchase for me.
this game looks very challnging
it does look difficult, but I think that the guy listening to the dev was actually the one playing as well. And that can make a game more difficult, especially when your trying to concentrate, and it being a new game and all laterz
Appears from video they are moving to tinting the screen for hits and health. Good. Seems like they have gotten rid of those crappy cartoony blood stains on the boarders to indicate hits. They ware just out of place. Great that ND are listening to feedback expecially about enemies taking too much hits. There were so much criticism about this from earlier builds. Hope the bot AI is killer.
Drake is probably the most handsome gaming character I seen so far. After Vamp that is =)
I was going to say whocares, or something ignorant like that. But its cool. Oh yeah, and I like the fact that you like Kojima san Do your thang Girl PEACE
IS SO SMART! They like try and outflank him....wow. they take cover, and have stragies against him.......wow
this and...well, no need to say the other one...I am on the ps3 side...lol...first day purchase REGARDLESS of reviews, opinions, and popular beliefs...although I think something about this game is telling all of us that this one is ace...I just have to play for myself...
