Isaiah Taylor from the ITBrog.com writes: "After watching Dieminion and Zade's comments on the cheapness of Wolverine, Phoenix and Sentinel. I have to question both the knee-jerk reactions of veteran players and also the mechanics of Marvel vs. Capcom 3"
Capcom Spotlight is just around the corner: tune in to see the latest titles being shown off by the Japanese masters.
New IP, please. Used to be (in the 80s) if it was a Capcom game, you knew it was good.

One of the highlights of FanimeCon 2025 was the Capcom cosplay gathering.
Capcom has removed GFWL from PC versions of Lost Planet 1 and 2 as well as other titles on Steam alongside support for online features.
nop it doesnt. game sucks.
Not particularly. It requires skill. But the skill cap is limited. Where as say in Street Fighter, if you're a noob, you can only get so far until someone who's genuinely good at the game comes and rapes you. Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 is really fun but its broken beyond belief. You don't have to be 'good' to be sucessful in really ruined the experience when all I ever see is Sentinels, Ryu's, Akuma's and Dantes.
As I say though, the games great. Just nothing I can see myself taking seriously due to the noob culture it caters to.
...MvC3 is fun sure but it takes a ton more skill for say Street Fighter 4 then MvC3.
I think it depends on how deep the player looks into it. If they are learning tactics to win then no since spamming is easy to do.
If you take time to make a well balanced team each with different abilities and strengths then it is a different story.
It really doesn't take much skills but i just suck at MvC3 or fighting games in general.
My friend is a natural though and he hasn't played a fighting game in years and he found it too easy compared to MvC1/2
