Shadowlocked - We live in a generation of rebirths and remakes and so, with this in mind, these are the VG classics that we at Shadowlocked feel deserve a Hollywood-style revisit...
Legendary game designer Hideki Kamiya has expressed interest in directing a new game in Capcom's Dino Crisis series.
I'd say start with a remake. The original had some neat ideas but can greatly be expanded upon. Like trapping dinos behind laser barricades or tranq-ing them into submission. There is a lot of room to explore and flesh out these quirky gameplay mechanics.
If this happens then I hope they give us different level of dinasors some of them smart than other and of course good story and great gameplay
Ever play a game a game only to discover at some point it transforms into a horror game? No? Well Netto's Game Room shares six games that do just that!
Not necessarily a ‘horror’ moment, but I remember feeling really tense and anxious when the Flood were first introduced in the original Halo. I never felt more on edge or nervous in that whole game as that moment. I think it was the whole buildup that something terrible was coming but you didn’t know exactly what.
Another non-horror game that had me feeling it was Subnautica. The deep dark depths, and knowing that sea monsters were lurking nearby, had me jumping at every sound.
I remember being scared of the Asylum level in the most recent Thief game from 2014.
The double pack will be arriving on the same day as Onimusha 2 Samurai's Destiny on 23rd May 2025
I know some people might think it but I don't think RE needs a reboot theres too many loose ends that havent been tied up.
The one I always go on about is the ending of RE4
<Spoilers>
Ada takes the Sample but dosen't give it to Wesker and she says that she knows Wesker isn't stupid and tough times lay ahead. Well Wesker got the sample in RE5 so we need to know how the hell he got it.
and who are the other corpoation Ada was working for...the "Organization" the rival of Umbrella.
I think this is why Leon and Ada will be in RE6. Hopefully not co-op like RE5 but with Ada getting a small side game like in RE4.
Sonic 4 was terrible and the next episodes probably will be as well.
