SEGA talks Yakuza: Kenzan localisation

SEGA discusses the possibility of PlayStation 3 Samurai slash-em-up Yakuza: Kenzan making the transition to western markets.

that would be cool. only problem is though, you can bet reviewers will tear it apart, because of its age. yea, that how reviewers work these days. cant believe it either.

.
But that doesn't stop gamers & fans would defend & like it.

Even Greg Miller's Yakuza 4 = 6.5 / 10 score wouldn't change my mind from buying it.

Or there's still a chance he would enjoy & rate it higher with this Way Of The Samurai + Yakuza concept.

I loved the first Way of the Samurai. I would love to see solid open world Samurai game. I doubt they would do it but I would like to see a Rockstar-style Samurai/Japan themed game. Something along the idea of how RDR is. Family slain, revenge, tons of stereotypes, violence, etc.

Pleas yes, let's do a petition or something, if way of the samurai gets localized frequently the why not better game like this.

Let's do a petition people it works like with the Tales games and Yakuza 3.

To be fair A_bro, you cant expect western reviewers to review the game as a 2008 title. If it gets released this year for the West it ought to be reviewed in relation to present titles being released.

they did the same thing to White Knight Chronicles..

thats why i assume the same will happen here.

Im really surprised the same didnt happen to Demon's souls, which arrived to the west a yaer after its launch in the east. I guess its there wasnt any game of it kind, and that is still true.

ThePsychoGamer4942d ago

It is a 3 year old game to be fair, Though I think it would be better received if Sega released it as a budget title, (witch Sega should do.)

InfiniteJustice4942d ago

I'd love for this series to come to the west, anything Yakuza related is awesome.

I think Yakuza 4 should do quite well sales-wise, with all the trailers and viral marketing that I've seen. Hopefully it's enough to convince Sega to release Kenzan

anasurimbor4942d ago

Would love to see it happen, since this is probably the best game in the series, but it's just not going to happen.

Good to know they haven't giving up hope
