Controversy over the content of video games has always been there, but did mothers and concerned parents ever really changed anything , or did they stop caring ? the first controversial game I found was a 1973 Atari arcade game called “Gotcha” that was controversial because the controls were “boobs” that you would squeeze to control the movement of character (we might need a reboot of this game). The first big controversial game I can remember was the 1992 “Mortal Kombat” ( http://citrusmojo.com/2011/... ) which featured dismemberment, blood, and gore. Followed by games like “Doom” and “Duke Nukem” which also featured blood, gore, and sexual themes. All of these had mothers out raged as they clutch there small children from the horrors of such games.

People will complain about games being violent again and again. Do they never think about how games can keep kids entertained and use their time to play games instead of do illegal shit because they have nothing to do?
