"This is the goal," BioShock Infinite's art director said of this photograph. He was describing the power of this image, of how this image, a photo from the early 20th century era in which the game is set, tells a story with its visuals. This is the kind of evocative scene Irrational wants gamers to see throughout the game.

I didn't saw the description lol, thanks.

The picture of the dead horse, was also part of the gameplay teaser/trailer.

I think it happens as the guy is running away from the thugs in the bar/pub.

No, its just after the collapsing Bell Tower and burning building with the woman sweeping, just before the crow bench. But good spotting regardless...

I'm interested in hearing more about this game, not sure whether I will buy it though. I thought Bioshock 2 was rather disappointing if i'm honest.

Bioshock Infinite is being developed by Irrational Games, the creators of Bioshock 1, not 2.

What was so dissapointing to you about Bioshock 2? I thought it was the best FPS I played all year in 2010. It wasn't as good as the original but it still had different areas of Rapture to explore, an interesting story line and fun gameplay.

Yeah, I loved Bioshock two more than the first. Sure, the story wasn't as mysterious like as the first one, but the gameplay was improved and was just over all, a better game.

TheLastGuardian5223d ago

I can agree with that. Bioshock 2 improved on the gameplay aspect. The original just felt so fresh at the time. The sequel didn't quite live up to the original for me. It's hard for a different developer to recapture the eerie, mysterious atmosphere of Bioshock 1.

the only real thing that was disappointing about Bioshock 2 was the forced multiplayer if they hadn't put that in they could have worked the story more

other than that game is awesome Bioshock is always day one buy

Forbidden_Darkness5223d ago

It was actually a whole different studio that worked on the multiplayer for BS2. I actually loved the multiplayer too. It was pretty fun and felt different from the normal multiplay games i've played.

I have high expectations for Bioshock Infinite. I can't wait to play it.

I'm hoping for some new gameplay footage to come from PAX, I'm interested in just HOW much the teamwork aspects of the game are scripted, alot of the second half of the teaser/Gameplay demonstration released last year seemed hugely scripted and not allowing for you to approach situations in your own method to me, the game looks breathtakingly awesome regardless but I'm hoping there are non-scripted combinations of abilities for us to try...

Absolutely insane. Man I'm hope they land on their feet EA needs to get the shit together badly....

This is why this industry has slow releases and none compelling games.

Why would anyone willingly work in the VG industry or specifically for one of these globocorp organizations that put you in constant fear of losing your livelihood based on terrible choices made by idiotic management, not the people with talent making the actual games?
