Global Brand Director Karl Stewart from Crystal Dynamics has said that the developer is yet to cast a voice actress for the upcoming Tomb Raider video game, and that official merchandise is coming.
Answering all fan questions on Twitter, Stewart says that the Crystal Dynamics team is still searching for the perfect voice of Lara Croft
"Still on the lookout. She’s out there, I know it," he tweeted, before confirming that Keeley Hawes will NOT voice Lara: "Does that mean that Keeley Hawes won't be doing the voice for Lara?........correct".
Crystal Dynamics have a nearly perfect Lara Croft blueprint for Tomb Raider 12 thanks to Netflix’s Survivor and Legend characteristics.

This is an opinion piece that has zero bearing on production of the hypothetical 12th installment of Tomb Raider.
The animated Netflix series is a sequel to Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Also, Netflix distributed this show, the company uses external production companies for most of its content. The show doesn’t provide a template for Crystal Dynamics [who was credited in production of the show], the Lara in the show is the one from the 2013 reboot series, and wasn’t reimagined for the show.
