Modern Warfare 2 patch fixes hackers on March 8th

In the middle of January, Infinity Ward and Modern Warfare 2 were struck with what was one of the biggest fiascos in MW multiplayer history. With homebrew PlayStation 3’s causing havoc on the servers, there wasn’t a viable fix at the time, at least not until Sony could release an update to put a band-aid on their own problems.
