Opinion/idea on adding competitive multiplayer to Bulletstorm

Cliffy B and a bunch of other Jimmy's on the Bulletstorm site explain how having pvp in Bulletstorm would ruin the game and wouldn't be fair, or if you take out those ridiculous elements that "it wouldn't be Bulletstorm anymore". How about you read this first?

Warprincess1165215d ago

Wow this game doesn't have multiplayer. Well there another reason why KZ3 is better.

NeloAnjelo5215d ago

LOL! Bubble Up Warprincess116.

You'll be accused of trolling, but funny nonetheless.

Kon5214d ago

Trying to prove something to you is the same thing of trying to prove why blue is better than yellow.

LOGICWINS5214d ago (Edited 5214d ago )

You do realize why Bulletstorm has no competitive MP right? It WOULDN'T work. How would you feel if you were playing online and every 3 seconds someone kicks you and shoots you dead while you helplessly fly through the air?

If you can't see why a competitive mode for Bulletstorm isn't feasible, then I'm sorry, but your extremely ignorant.

HacSawJimThugin5214d ago

Exactly...some of these haters are so butthurt that they can't see straight. Anyone that has seen a trailer for the game knows that the standard fair is not possible because of the unique gameplay....as far as being a competitive multiplayer, it already is.

BX815214d ago

Bulletstorm is surprisingly a fun game. It's not as graphically appealing as KZ3 but I played through the game without audio drops and repeating dialog, some thing I can't say for KZ3!

maxcer5214d ago

why play another CoD clone with no user base when you have a much better BFBC2 sitting on the shelf?

If being a noob means being a millionaire, being one of the most recognizable faces in the gaming industry, AND having the second most successful new IP this console generation under my belt...then I'd be happy to be a noob :)

Trevonn5214d ago

bieng famous and rich does not change ones skill so your comment is pointless a noob is basicly someone who sucks at a game or who plays like a idiot. bill gates is the worlds second richest man but he would still probably get his @ss wuped on halo

LOGICWINS5214d ago (Edited 5214d ago )

@Twisty Trev- Wrong. A person who is a novice at ANYTHING can be referred to as a noob. For example, "Twisty Trev, your a noob at life."

See. I used the word noob to imply that you fail at life. All jokes aside, being a noob at something doesn't NEED to relate to video games.

And even if ur definition of a noob only referred to the skill of a player at a videogame...do you believe CliffyB cares whether hes good at a game or not considering the money he has and his status in the gaming industry? Yeah..no.

I know right, he's getting way too many dedicated articles if you ask me, every little thing he says or does is an article lol.

thebudgetgamer5214d ago

my favorite part is it's probably one interview that turns into twenty articles.

WhiteNoise5214d ago

KZ3 **NEEDS** MP because it has a weak 4hr campaign. Bulletstorm has a GOOD 10 hr campaign.

No MP needed. The gameplay ( kick + leash would not fit well with MP ) which is the exact same reason the devs game.

WHo would want to be helplessly thrown in the air and kicked across the map in slo-mo?

Only retards who have not played the game keep mentioning this, anyone who has can see why it would no work/is not needed.

BLACKBOIJONES5214d ago (Edited 5214d ago )

WOW..Another news with cliffy in the picture..Tell me something new i dont know :/

Any way it will be so unbalanced if the do PvP Multiplayer because the guns in this game are just ridiculous.

BX815214d ago (Edited 5214d ago )

"WOW..Another news with cliffy in the picture..Tell me something new i dont know"

Ok I'll try.... Your avatar pic looks like you're about to try out for a MJ thriller remake!

Duty Calls - Epic Games' Forgotten Call of Duty Parody

Back in 2011, Epic Games and People Can Fly launched a Call of Duty parody - Duty Calls - that has been lost to the annals of history.

closed_account728d ago

"Duty Calls: The Calm Before the Storm" sounds more like a massive case of the sh**s. 😂

I saw the parody mention, and half expected the ability to drop a deuce on your opponent... I left disappointed.

Bulletstorm - A Cult Classic Worthy of Revival?

Bulletstorm will soon receive a VR remake, but is it worth revisiting? Take a look back at the original 2011 release.

IMissJimRyan736d ago

Absolutely. I remember when the game came out on ps360, I thought: "wow, another shooter" and in the 7th gen that wasn't an unfair reaction.

But when the game was re-release on ps4 I took my time an played it (it was on playstation plus at the time) because, ironically, I missed a shooter in that console. And boy, what a fun game! They made a game to be played and not to be watched. It was a fresh air in the genre that deserved better.

So yes. Maybe it find its audience this time.

SullysCigar736d ago

It's an awesome game. The only exception (for my taste) is the script writing, which is OTT, but I guess that's what they were going for. It does at least match the OTT action and gore. I thought it was great overall and actually being in this game is going to be bonkers!

IMissJimRyan736d ago

Yeah, I agree that storywise it's not an Oscar nominee, but it's like a porn movie in game format.

Abnor_Mal736d ago (Edited 736d ago )

Agree with the over the top script, and felt at the time that was the only thing that people were hyped about, the language and not game play.

But in vr this game is going to be great. It has everything that would make a great vr game. Lots of bombastic action, gunplay, blood, and that leash.

Looking at the gameplay now it seems that the game was ahead of it’s time and was perfect for vr before vr wasn’t even off the ground.

Venoxn4g736d ago

I loved the game back in the day and will love in VR even more!

Yui_Suzumiya736d ago (Edited 736d ago )

I got it on PS3 at launch and am still waiting for the long rumored sequel to finally be announced. Currently have it on Switch and wish a physical version of that would be released. Absolutely love it.

FinalFantasyFanatic735d ago

I actually feel like this game gets revived all the time, not that I hate the game, I actually quite like it, it's just constantly available, unfortunately I'm not a fan of VR so I'll be skipping this version.

Bloodborne is a game I still restart and play every few months. I would welcome just a re release in 60fps with a visual upgrade. It's a perfect game. If I was king for a day I would include the randomizer mods because then it would be a kind of rogue like and I could play it forever.

gleepot771d ago

Sure, ill take a sequel to all of these.
