WeTheGamerz: PSN+ Users to get MK9 Demo early

This morning in a post at Playstation Blog, Sony Computer Entertainment revealed that a demo for the highly anticipated Mortal Kombat 9 will be made available to all Playstation Network users on March 15th. However, Playstation Plus subscribers will be able to download it on.....

Big deal, we wait a week for a demo. PSN + does not, and has not provided value for its high price. I will take the free psn any day.

If it's not for you fine but to call that a high price you must be real broke in which case as gaming tends to be an expensive hobby it may not be for you either

For your info I ain't broke. I work my ass off every single day, teaching literature in highschool, and I blow off steam by escaping into video games. If its good quality, and I get my money's worth-then I would make a purchase. For instance, I purchased DC universe online, tried the 30 month free trial, was very impressed with the game I decided to purchase the 12 month subscription plan, which ended up being cheaper (11 bucks and change per month) over the 15 bucks every month

PS+, in my opinion, has not delivered the goods in the period of time it has been around. If you telling me all I am going to get are free/discounted psn titles and demos a week in advance than everyone else, than what is the point of paying for that service. If I was going to get exclusive capability to download ps2 games for free, then I would fork over the money, because that is something special. Sony has dropped the ball on this one, just like it had with the pspgo (which I purchased by the way and love it)and the mess up of the confusing prices with the initial launch of the ps3.

On topic: ps+ is more thAn getting demos a week early. Free games, free themes, discounts as high as 75%. My subscription has already paid for itself and I've only had it for a month. It wouldn't hurt to have a look.

I haven't got PS+, but waiting a week is no problem. Done it before for Mafia2 demo and Killzone3 demo. At least us non-PS+ users still get the demo's.
Looking forward to trying out Mortal Kombat, another game that I want this year.

Nice!! gimme something to do in between killzone breaks.Im ps+ and the 8 or so months iv had it has def paid off with the free games each month.We still play bowling with move and that was one of the free games loved mushroom wars, lead and gold was fun too trust me ps+ pays for itself more than once.Oh and getting Stacking free when it came out was cool too. My fiance digs that game not my cup of tea and Betas are fukn sweet as well!!
