The Fanboy Peace Treaty Of 2007

The internet is a funny place. It's full of entertainment in every nook and cranny, especially the forums and comments sections. Not since the Sega Saturn/N64 days have I seen so much contempt in the form of video game advocacy. It's gotten to the point of disgusting. It's Playstation fanboys vs. Xbox fanboys and we are on round 100. It's time for the fans of the next generation systems to join hands and fight for what's really important…the games.

"Hating on another piece of plastic and silicone proves nothing. It shows that you are jealous, thoughtless, immature and brainless. Why not take all of that negative energy and use it to make your gaming experience better?"

"However, do you honestly think that if a game like MGS4 goes multiplatform that it will hurt the PS3? The PS3 has 6 million sold already. Konami will make their money from PS3 owners. They also stand to make millions from 360 owners. No system is going to die out because of a 3rd party game going exclusive. It’s just not gonna happen. You have nothing to fear."

AMEN BROTHER!!! HALLELUJAH!

Praise the Lord and pass the plasma/nectar/hollow points/turtle shells/plasmids/cerebral bores!!!

-Actually thats wrong. That how Sega Saturn got it's asskicked because of exclusive titles for the ps1.

Taker_1296051d ago

so if MGS4 went multiplat it would hurt sells of the ps3 alot, because there would be no need to buy a ps3. The same thing if Halo 3 came to the ps3 there would be no need to buy a 360. That's why exclusives sell consoles.

tordavis6051d ago

Actually, Sega Saturn lost on many fronts. Sony buying exclusives, poor development tools and the system was overpriced. Losing MGS did not cause the Saturn to tank.

Seriosly, I am quite entertained with the constant jarring. The only downside is when someone keeps posting the same "duh" fact.

Yes, the PS3 is more Powerful vs. PS3 has crappy ports from the 360.

Yes, The 360 has higher caliber games vs. Its been out 1 year longer

Yes, XBLA beats PSN, vs. so what, PSN IS FREE .

Yes, The 360 has a 1 in 3 chance of burning out (RROD) vs DelayStation 3.
Yes, Bluray is selling more movies (???) vs. nothingness.

Yes, MGS4 supposingly can be ported to 360 vs. 360 version would take 8 discs

Yes, The ps3 helps fight the war on deceases vs. Bill Gates has the cure for cancer already.

It would be nice if there was some new stuff for the fanboys to argue about. I guess I am one of the few that gets a kick out of the repetitive stupid crap.

EKWB reportedly plagued with financial disarray many gaming pc's left without parts

EK Cooling allegedly has slipped itself into a hot soup of seemingly endless financial woes, where it has not paid its staff, suppliers, and contractors for many months as the company is facing liquidity problems and a surplus of inventory left unsold, stuck in the warehouse for a more extended period. Gamers Nexus investigated these claims made by former and current personnel, where he found trails of unpaid bills lasting as long as three to four months and unpaid raises that accumulated for almost a year.

EK Water Blocks has two entities—a Slovenian-based headquarters and a US-based subsidiary, EK Cooling Solutions. Steve narrated the series of events in detail, stating that the company was reportedly irresponsible and negligent regarding payment. Consequently, partners and employees are forced to share the burden of alleged mismanagement. It all begins with its extensive range of products, leading to a surplus of goods. EK has over 230 water blocks, 40 liquid cooling kits, 85 reservoirs, 40 pumps, 73 radiators, and 212 miscellaneous accessories.

Yes this is not about video games directly but indirectly this will impact the pc gaming/workstation space hard.

This company is massive one of two in the water cool space so if it goes poof then thousands out there have no spare parts or half built computers.

SO yeah i know not about a video game but think of it as amd leaving the pc space but this is ekwb that could be leaving water cooling in the pc space

Jayz2cents a supporter of there products also has issues

As someone that has built a watercooling rig. EK is big, but there's so many numerous watercooling part companies out there. EK's stuff isn't exactly amazing quality for the price compared to others either, it's just ok. Much like Corsair. The impact would be negligible long term. For perspective the majority of my parts are XSPC, at most I use EK for my gpu waterblocks and fittings. Both easily replaceable.
