Catherine was released the week before.

MaideninBlack2790d ago

I'm aware of that. By tanked I mean it couldn't hold a spot in the top 10 for longer than a week.

sinncross2790d ago

Wow, PSP software holding strong.

Neckbear2790d ago

As Starhawk commented, Catherine released last week- and in that week alone, it surpassed Atlus' lifetime expectations.

Moreover, I want actual numbers!

However, for what it seems, looks like D4 did okay, if not well enough.

Inception2790d ago

Wow, PSP hold the 1st and 2nd spot even after 3DS got launch?! amazing!

sikbeta2790d ago

I want to know the numbers of Disgaea 4, pretty niche game :P

PSP software still holding strong despite the launch of the 3DS... That's a rather good sign for the NGP in Japan

Infernostew2790d ago

How crazy would NPG sell of a monster hunter game were to launch on it?

InfiniteJustice2790d ago

Knowing Japan it would probably boost initial sales immensely... It's bound to happen lol

Inzo2790d ago

Im surprised to see KZ3 in the top 10 because normally FPS games dont do very well in Japan especially those from western devs.

Cloudberry2790d ago

FPS genre in Japan is good.

Not "great", but good.

Even Call Of Duty Black Ops manage to get in Best Games in 2010 for Japanese gamers.
