Indeed! I thought Defiance was such a great game too. Sad they never released anything after that.

Amen to that. Defiance was actually my favorite in the series. It seemed like the series was finally getting it's footing and becoming more well-known in the gaming world...then nothing else was released. It just kinda....ended.
I know Raziel's story has technically finished. But Kain's had only begun. There was so much more that could have been explored. :(

I did the same as you, played the demo back on my friend's PS1 and really liked it. I ended up buying it on the PS Store a year or so ago and finally beat it!

I played it on PC years ago, and it just crashed out on me - or I think it did - unless it has a really abrupt ending.

i got tired of waiting for einhander and went online and ordered a japanese playstation network card with like 10000 yen on it (ten bucks i think) and then created a japanese account. Then just bought it on the Japanese store. Here is one such guide for the PSP that I used for my PS3

LoK the series that re-ignited my love for video games, good for EU its about time they get this masterpiece it was the first PsOne classic i bought.

Love to see a remake of all three soul reaver games or at least hd remakes. I'd buy em day one. The music, story/dialog, voice acting, and overall quality of these games easily matches todays best.

Amy Hennig, the one who writes uncharted, wrote these. Obviously she didn't work on em herself, but I gonna give her all the credit anyways. She's brilliant!

Amazing game. Soul Reaver should be remade. Imagine it with the scope and visuals of the new Elder Scrolls using the same engine.
