Paper Wars: Cannon Fodder Review | PSX Extreme

Paper Wars: Cannon Fodder is a decent, entertaining Mini that is a fine way to pass the time. If Plus members have the option to nab it for free, it’s definitely worth playing and even if you don’t get it free of charge, it’s still cheap. You might find that the appeal wears thin a bit too early, and maybe they could’ve done more with this silly, unique concept, but the control and style is undeniably good. Also, there’s a Survival mode that adds to the longevity and for the most part, you really should play through most of the game with a smile on your face.

Original Gamer - Paper Wars: Cannon Fodder was originally released as a PSP Mini title, accompanied by the ‘humorous’ marketing tactic of labelling it as the ‘worst game ever’. Unfortunately for developer iFun4All!, Cannon Fodder doesn’t quite sink as low as E.T. or Superman 64 but instead plods along in a rather mediocre fashion like one of the many soldiers in this game that you are tasked with killing.
