The 3DS project manager reveals that 3D wasn't always on the cards for the DS successor.
As part of its huge sixty page feature this week celebrating the 3DS launch, Famitsu has an interview with Nintendo's Hideki Konno, producer of Nintendogs + cats, and head of the Nintendo 3DS project as a whole. The magazine managed to get a few interesting bits of 3DS development history from Konno.
At GDC 2019, Capcom's own Hideaki Itsuno and Matt Walker provided details on how Devil May Cry 5 was designed, bringing the franchise back with style.
Allowing gamers to create their own courses is an idea that intrigues Mario Kart 8 producer Hideki Konno, but the difficulty involved in doing so is the main reason that functionality remains only an idea for the future.
I'm not sure if I want to buy Mario Kart 8 or not, but if it had this feature, I'd buy it in an instant.
Genuinely curious, does anyone see Nintendo stepping out of their comfort zone anytime soon? if LBP can do it and mod racers can..then...this is no excuse really other then them not wanting to go the extra mile
It would have been a great feature considering it would be perfect for the gamepad but regardless the game is looking awesome and i can't wait to get my hands on it.
