Would You Pay-To-Play Call of Duty?

If there is any one game that shouldn’t even need to be announced, and instead just assumed to exist by everyone, that game is a Call of Duty sequel. Love it or hate it, for now, it’s here to stay. Sooner or later in the year we’re going to hear an official announcement of Activision’s next Call of Duty title. Rumors about the next game kick off just about as soon as the previous one releases. We’ve heard plenty, but I think the number one rumor everyone has definitely had concern about is the idea of having some sort of Pay to Play model behind the game.

With the recent move away from dedicated servers, one way they could charge for online is to promise dedicated servers, and to thus have higher player caps per game.

The fee would need to be low however, and you could still play regular multiplayer with lower player counts and P2P.

And with Xbox Live, even if you don't play CoD online, you're paying for others to play CoD online.

Nope, maybe Battlefield if it had Move control. I never play COD MP for than than 10-15 hrs total, it gets boring.

haven't bought a call of duty yet...

so why would i PAY to PLAY it now?....

there are other games worth $60...
