A Faster and Easier Way To Use Facebook on PS3

Many people have been wanting more and more functionality between PS3 and Facebook. Many people have also been wanting a Facebook App and have been complaing about how Facebook.com runs on the PS3 Web Browser. There is a easy and fast way to use Facebook on your PS3 Web Browser.

Mobile websites are meant to be less process intensive. They were design speficially for less powerful devices like smartphones tablets.

Alot people dont know this, but activating the Face Book setting in account management.

And installing one of those photo viewer apps in the psn store the first forgot the name of it.

Once in the app, hit the R1 and you will go to your Facebook Friends pics its like a hidden feature I havent heard many people mention before but its kind of cool.

It just lets you see your friends Facebook pics and even shows the comments. Its alright if you have friends over and want to show your pics or just look at some of the Facebook hot chicks on a big Screen

I like the FB integration on ps3.
But whenever I DO need to use facebook, the last thing I wanna do is use it on ps3.
I have a perfectly capable PC for that..

I use the mobile version when i surf through my psp, but when i don't have much trouble surfing through the ps3 without using the mobile version.

The browser should be removed from the PS3 altogether. There's no need for it because everyone has access to a PC these days.

The video editor should also be removed.

Uh, because it's a GAMING platform? The PS3 is used for playing games, not to surf the web. I have a PC for that.

Also, the browser can't go five minutes without freezing or having about 20 Javascript pop-ups and it's slow as hell.

Yes, it is a gaming machine. But I'm not really seeing your point. I mean, is your point that it's ONLY supposed to play games.

If so, then I suppose my Cell Phone should ONLY be used for talking and text and email....maybe not even Email.

The point is,
Almost All of today's devices do more than just one thing, Sam2236.....sorta comes with the territory of being an electronic device.

Sure the PS3's current browser isn't good, but I'm glad that it is there and I hope it gets better.

I'm glad we don't live in the 90's anymore.
