GamersHell - DC Universe Online Review

GamersHell - Launching a new, high-profile MMO must be a brutal nail-biter if you're one of the developers. Everyone wonders: Will your game be the fabled “WoW killer?” While it's probably unrealistic to expect any game to topple Blizzard's behemoth (especially at launch), DC Universe Online might very well be able to siphon off a decent portion of the World of Warcraft community, as well as bringing into the fold those gamers with no interest in orcs and wizards.

I've posted in a fair reviews of this game how much I like it so I'm not gonna repeat myself here. I am however going to say that after more than month of heavy use I'm still enjoying the challenge this game presents. Just recently picked up my full teir 1 armour set and first tier 2 piece. The raids are still quite challenging as not a lot of people have geared up enough yet. Anyway the bugs in DCUO have become an annoyance and I'd say the only thing stopping this game from getting more 8s and even some 9s.

The patch next week seems to be addressing quite a lot of these and also adds some fantastic content to an already packed game.

I'd also like to add that the community has been exceptional for an online game and banter among DC fans is fantastic. Ok I'm done raving ;P back to the Watchtower.

MMOs In 2021 Retrospective: Console Edition

WTMG's Thomas Medina: "As far as I’m concerned, console MMOs have always been in a weird place. PC is where the main game is most popular. MMOs were born there, work best there, and have the vast majority of titles. Mobile is then next in line, with touchscreens and portability that adds something new while functioning well. Console gaming, on the other hand, is not portable (for the most part). Plus, it uses a controller, which is not the best instrument when your control scheme requires a thousand buttons and a cursor. That being said, there is an audience, and where there’s money to be made, publishers find a way. So here we are with some of the biggest console MMO games and how I feel they handled 2021. "

Best Superhero Video Games Available Right Now

From Xfire: "A lot of video games are designed to make players feel like a superhero. However, very few actually feature superheroes or have players take on the role of a superhero. What makes this even worse is that there are even fewer superhero video games that can be considered good."
