The third entry in the series launched today in Europe after being out in North America since Tuesday. It’s a great game but we sympathise with anyone who finds the speed, air combos and assist moves all a bit bewildering. If you’re one of the bewildered ones, you should read on.

how this game is getting high scores defies logic; I'd give this game a 7/10 easily (and that's all for the visual and speed)

I have a really fun time with the game and all, but I'm a bit disappointed in honesty. It just didn't take a hold of me like I thought it would... the online is so sketchy, and I really dislike the combo system.

As common as it is today, it is hard to believe that there was a time where gaming franchises crossing over was just a pipe dream. Capcom broke down the wall, but they took the combination of some of the most unlikely of franchises and made it the norm.

Whether it was a colossal successful partnership with Marvel Comics or a collaboration with rivals Namco and SNK, the “Vs.” series brought unforgettable experiences to the fighting genre.
