-and having such a nice feel to the game play just made the whole thing a super plus.. so I pre-ordered right after that...

I am actually surprised that MSNBC owned by Microsoft has given a Sony exclusive product such a high review. I have my KZ3 pre-ordered from Amazon and can't wait to play it.

No one can deny how beautiful Killzone 3 is. Anyone that ACTUALLY PLAYS IT is blown away. Its nothing short of a feast for the eyes.

They actually took their time with the review and had a fair play through multiplayer due to the beta - unlike most big name sites that knocked the game due to being mad at Sony for limited MP play time. It's not surprising they'd score it higher.

Once gaming fans and fanboys stop going to sites to complain about bogus articles, the articles get better all of a sudden until the clicks for so-called "quality" or "good" reviews plateau, then the so-called "low-quality" or "bad" reviews are given and the opposite effect gets more hits for a while, rinse and repeat. People who are really tuned-in to the ebbs and flow of the web do this constantly.

Certain games are also undeniable in terms of a good or bad review and some sites already know that they will give a game a good score or not. Some people give scores according to advertising dollars, some are in some people's pocket entirely; it's just business: a corrupt, scruple-less business.

I think this is a fair review, not because they gave KZ an excellent score, but because they pointed out the flaws without overly exagerating them.

Basically taking the game for what it is, an action game, with an action oriented script, great visuals and fun factor that is up there with some of the best.

Tuesday can't come soon enough.

I personally don't think games are art, but I do think Killzone is a great game. The demo actually feels like a game, not like a lot of games on the PC/PS3/360 this gen that feel like tech demos put in corridors or a limited amount of this or that to maximize the graphical quality.
