Shenmue III ? WTF that game wasn't canned it hasn't even been announced and I am sure that the Developers have said they would like to make it
Shenmue III was indeed canceled. Funding issues and Shenmue II's poor sales all contributed to this. Director Yu Suzuki had plans for a sequel, but there were several things keeping it from ever surfacing, with the aforementioned two being primary reasons. Suzuki has expressed interest in releasing the game someday, but whether it'll happen or not is up in the air.

I mean, it's been close to 10 years since the game was confirmed, and we still haven't seen it yet. Yeah, it's most likely canned.
