Button Masher: Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom follows the tale of a thief who possesses the ability to talk with animals, and befriends an oaf of an beast called Teotl (a Majin) that holds the fate of the world in his clumsy uncoordinated hands. This is a 3D puzzle platformer with the novelty of having a goofy buddy accompany you along the way. The idea was that you would develop an "IRL friendship" but sadly Teotl has the vocabulary of a toddler and most gamers don’t really do friends with pre-schoolers.

I loved Folklore and this game was awesome. It had an ICO vibe to it. Its a shame the studio is no more =/.

It's a mediocre game. Not really a "must play". I guess it's ok if you're just renting it and have nothing else to play though.
