Something tells me Capcom misses the day of ripping people off two quarters at a time as they haven't quite grasped the idea of a "product" yet it seems.

Whats next?

Combos and special moves unlocked for your character? 10 bucks.

Tier it up Capcom*.

*quite proud of this pun

Fatal Blow5248d ago

Most likely they will start charging us like the real arcade every time we play lol

despair5248d ago

This is like COD all over again, people complain about it yet still will buy the game and the dlc.

I'd expect costume packs later on as it seems to be the same way SFIV and the Super edition operated. *Shrugs* I may just get the ones I want anyway [again]. I just hope that they will have character [individually] and not so much tied to packs.

There is one annoying thing in those articles and a few comments around here ...

There has been no mention yet that the shadow dlc isnt free . I dont mind complaining if it's a paid dlc (i know i will) ... but so far , i fail to see where in the history of capcom fighting game dlc , does anyone get that kind of notion .

Crappy costumes as dlc ? check , like most fighting games so far , some even selling colors

DLC characters ? Check , again like a few other fighting games for no better reasons .

But this is the tricky part , and where i call shenanigan.. sf4 and ssf4 game mode dlcs ? All free

Just because something has a big fat zero on the price tag shouldn't detract from the quality of the product should it? After all, both paid for and free content come from the devs so they should be striving to uphold standards in quality.

There's no getting away from the fact that Shadow Mode is seriously lacking some creative thought.

That is all.

I'd like to disagree, what other game has done something like this?

I feel a new DMC on the horizon.

New IP, please. Used to be (in the 80s) if it was a Capcom game, you knew it was good.

jznrpg3d ago

Pragmata is a new IP so there’s that. Another one would be nice though

Babadook72d ago (Edited 2d ago )

Honestly Capcom is still somewhat of a seal of quality for me.

shinXseijuro2d ago

Trust me I’m a Capcom baby. Got fond memories of Megaman and all the good library they had on snes 😂 . I always felt bummed Capcom shunned Megaman tho ever since inafune left the company . Pragmata seems like it’s a new Megaman sort of
