Kotaku: Square Enix Closed Mega Theater Impressions

Kotaku managed to score a ticket to the Square Enix Closed Mega Theater presentation. It started off with a bang with a Final Fantasy XIII trailer that was truly a sight to behold. It was one of the most beautifully crafted pieces seen in a while.

But still no straight FF VII remake. Final Fantasy Dissidia for the PSP made an appearance.

Square enix really really likes milking ff games. :/ Is that all they have final fantasy they should try and diversify themselves at least a little bit.

Ehrgeiz god bless the ring? They attempted to make a fighting game and failed horribly and decided to stick with RPGs.

Final Fantasy, as a whole, is fine.

They're milking of FF7, though, is a bit annoying. Let a classic be. It had good enough of a story to make up for its lackluster gameplay and became a legend. Run away with the earnings and the legacy and leave the poor game alone.

Dragon Quest is only on the effing PSP!?!! How retarded to place the BEST RPG franchise on a handheld. Didn't DQ VIII open their eyes. Talk about EPIC!!!!!
