I agree, however the graphics will be compromised especially draw distance.

I don't think this would sell on 360 but I could be wrong..

the landscape looks awsome!!

Have you ever played MS Flight Simulator?

Wouldn't work on a console, just would not work.

guigsy5255d ago

With the addition of Kinect, I think it would.

PirateThom5255d ago

No, it really wouldn't. Kinect would help in no way, shape or form.

MS Flight Simulator, if you have never played it, is serious business. It's not Ace Combat or something equally arcade focused which MIGHT woek for controls with Kinect. No, MSFS requires much more accurate controls to adjust a whole manner of settings, on the fly (if you'll excuse the term) and a keyboard or specific controller is the ONLY way to have access to everything

guigsy5255d ago

Yes I've played Flight Sim, Combat Flight Sim, the lot. I don't see how using the controller for basic controls and Kinect for zooming into specific areas of the cockpit and using your hands to flip switches, buttons etc. wouldn't work. I would like to see them give it a shot anyway.

kudakadere5255d ago

it could work with kinect , just look at Steel Baliton that had the most complicated controller for any consle snd now it's coming to kinect.

SixZeroFour5255d ago

it could easily work just by adding all the switches, knobs, bells and whistles all on screen

you would be able to freely move your hands around and since kinect can detect individual fingers, you can easily to a flicking switch gesture and have your in game character follow suit...in fact, if they were able to implement kinect with the game, i can see kinect being used in pilot training simulations in the future...although, im sure they already have a working simulation not using kinect that also has physical feedback, but just saying that i could see it as a possibility

1. It wouldn't sale
2. The 360 can't handle this PERIOD
3. see 1 & 2

Pedals, flight stick, 3 screen set up, 6 screen set-up 10 screen set-up, Flight simulation chair, etc.
This Sim is serious business, the next step is a $300k flight simulator and flight school.

Microsoft Flight Sim is AAA HARDCORE, this ain't Top Gun or AfterBurner.

Wow, good job on the submission S1oppy Tuna.

NONE of the tags belong here, and you're missing the only one that does...

On topic, this looks damn fine.

Surfaced5255d ago

Why is this categorized for Xbox 360?
It is a PC exclusive.

Kran5255d ago (Edited 5255d ago )

Thats what I reported the article for. The poster didnt even listen!

This is what he disagreed with:

"It will be using xbox live know it all! "

He forgets that this is a PC only game, and just because it uses Xbox live, it doesnt mean the 360 has to be tagged. Windows 7 phone has Xbox Live, does an article relating to it have to have "Xbox 360" in it? NO!

Some people think they know everything ¬¬

Surfaced5255d ago

And it's not even Xbox Live. Its Games for Windows Live.

One isn't free, and the other is.

My god the stupidity. I'm reporting it, too.

ASSASSYN 36o5255d ago

Nice! I am in a Maul in my avatar. The same plane in the pics.

bakalhau5255d ago

They're keeping the game as hardcore as it is, but they're also providing an arcade style approach for those who WANT it.

So if you're considering the arcade approach, they MIGHT be able to port it to 360 with the arcade/simplified mechanics.

Then again, the graphics wouldn't be comparable so I'd still take the game on PC any day of the week.
