Torrent site files charges against media companies

Popular torrent site 'The Pirate Bay' has today claimed it is filing charges against a variety of media and gaming companies for attempting to sabotage the site.

The companies that are being reported are the following:

* Twentieth Century Fox, Sweden AB
* Emi Music Sweden AB
* Universal Music Group Sweden AB
* Universal Pictures Nordic AB
* Paramount Home Entertainment (Sweden) AB
* Atari Nordic AB
* Activision Nordic Filial Till Activision (Uk) Ltd
* Ubisoft Sweden AB
* Sony Bmg Music Entertainment (Sweden) AB
* Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Nordic AB

Lol. A site that is stealing media, is suing the companies on which they are stealing the media from? That has got to be the most hypocritical thing I've ever heard.

TPB is a torrent tracker they arent stealing anything and have no media or files on their computers/servers. Torrents are like p2p sharing, the users have the media.

They are still responsible for hosting the torrent files which lead to the stolen media.
