... my favourite game of 2010. You start a level, think 'how the hell will I ever manage to get through this alive!?', and somehow you manage and half an hour and a thousand deaths later, you're just shaving 1/100th of a second of your time and feeling great about it.

My favourite game over the Christmas holiday.
It's cool how much better you get at it too.
When you go back to the first levels having finished the game, you're shocked at how slow your initial times were.

Amazing game, but... Don't know if it was a common problem (or if the fixes in the above article would work) but it did lock up nearly constantly on my pc, at the end or beginning of every 2-3 levels.

They already said, there will never be a PS3 version.

"We can't EVER do a PS3 version of Super Meat Boy because when we were going into negotiations with publishers, Sony was the only one that didn't express much interest in the game. We assumed this meant they didn't want the game, and [we] decided to sign with Nintendo and Microsoft."

We've heard that a lot...then it appears on PSN. Doesn't matter much to me, I think I'll just grab it on Steam.

won't happen as part of the MS agreement was not to bring the game to the PS3, at least that's what they said.

I would love it if Square Enix brought Final Fantasy Crisis Core to the PSN. Though the game wasn't designed for that resolution... /off topic

Anyways, I will admit that I didn't think Super Meat Boy was going to be a well received game... oh boy was I wrong.

Got this on PC for black friday steam deals, and I love the game but the sheer number of patches it had was depressing.

Nothing like patching a game one hundred times after you get it. Really takes the intensity out of things.

Had it on Steam, so all "patching" involved was occasionally seeing a notification in the corner of the screen and thinking "oh, that's nice".

No wonder Steam posted such high profits this year. It is cause of genius things like this.
