Hilarious Tales of Video Game Bans

GameSpy: The decision to outlaw video games belongs in the hands of parents and the gamers themselves. Placing video game censorship in the hands of a government has been roundly criticized for infringing on free speech rights -- fostering black markets, stifling business growth, and being largely ineffective. Honestly, it's hard for us to have a different opinion when countries from around the world keep frustrating gamers with baffling, inconsistent policies regarding which games are pulled from shelves. Here are the oddest video game bans in history.

WOW.. I didn't know about any of these bans.
That is surprising that Greece has banned all electronic games. Can't even play chess in internet cafe. LOL, Hard Life.

"Thankfully, players will seemingly easily be able to update their game to the new version easily by simply installing "

What the fuck kind of sentence structure is that?!

GTA4 was the worst game in the entire series and the only one I've ever truly hated

SegaSaturn6691524d ago

I really liked the tv stations on gta 4. Other than that, I agree. Horrible racing missions.

They'll never get rid of how slow and sluggish these games feel. Your character and vehicles feel too heavy. Even on the most powerful rigs. I love how GTAV fixed it though.

Profchaos1524d ago (Edited 1524d ago )

Your character was a mid 30/40 year old personally I felt like he controlled the way most people in that age range move.
And it had better driving physics than v did cars have weight and it felt correct compared to v everything drives like a sports car and turns corners on a dime

DerfDerf1524d ago

The driving physics in GTA4 were far superior to 5. Everyone complains because of the physics engine used but it's one of the things I love about 4

One of the very rare cases where DLC was done right. This is what DLC should have been, a proper expansion pack, not what it has become today.

PowerOfTheCloud1633d ago

Right, the dlc's were better than the actual game imo

chrisx1634d ago

Ballad of gay Tony was great

"A recent update also added a fully functioning casino that requires players to use real money, in order to buy fake money, then gamble it!" This is not true, again this is a bullshit narrative being pushed, which is furthest from the truth.

PoSTedUP1712d ago

Ill always like 3 the best. Still play it till this day.

CertifiedGamer1711d ago

Grand Theft Auto 3 is the game that made it into a console selling game so that's why its my number #1
