DualShockers Preview: Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (After Completing the Campaign)

"For those of you counting down the days, you already know all there is to know about Marvel vs. Capcom 3. There is nothing I can say that will catch you by surprise. There have been leaks, YouTube videos of gameplay and cutscenes, and pretty much everything about the game has been revealed through the internetz. So, what’s this post about you say? Well, I just played the final version of game, and I would just like to share some of my thoughts and stuff I’ve recently discovered."

As much as I DESPISE X-23 as a character (seriously, in the comics she's SUCH a horrible character) she looks awesome to play as.

I'm still disappointed that Molly Hayes from The Runaways didn't make the lineup, or Squirrel Girl. Still so hype for this game though.

to each their own , i like x-23 . She was interesting in Nyx , great in x acadmy , xmen and awesome in her mini series .

I dont see how and why they'd have picked Molly . Runaways was great too , but a serie that consistently got cancelled . There hasnt been one since 08 i believe .

Molly herself is nothing original , fighting wise . She's the strong type wich we can find in spades . Her original trait is her great personality , but it doesnt translate into a fighting game much .

Squirrel is goofy and creative enough . But i can't say i care much for her .

I just really don't like X-23 from what I've read. I never saw the animated series she was in or whatever though.
I thought Molly would have been a nice addition just to have a bruiser like that who plays like the Hulk, but is a little girl.
Squirrel Girl just would have been cool to see her play off of Deadpool, MODOK and DOOM.

Every time a fighting game comes out I get excited and think "THIS is the one! This is the one I'll be good at!" And I suck at it and play it twice ever.

I cant believe there's no spectator mode. I dont see many people playing in rooms larger than 2 if that's the case. What a lame omission.

They said in the article that Spectator mode will be patched into the game after launch. Not everything missing in the game will be used to make a Super Marvel vs Capcom 3 because there isn't going to be a Super Marvel vs Capcom 3 (I'm not saying there won't be a Ultimate Edition with all the DLC but DLC is the only thing it would have).

Strange.i havent been interested in a fighter for years.last one i bought was dead or alive 4..and now im really interested in this and the new mortal kombat?

but one fighter is more than enough for me.
