GamingTrend - Having seen the success of "scavenger hunt" type games everywhere from bowling alleys to arcades, it was a surefire bet that this genre would make itself known on the iPad. An interesting observation is that these pixel hunt games have a lot in common with the adventure genre, where a player hunts through a plethora of pixels in an attempt to find the next part to complete a more complex item.

Treasure Seekers: Visions of Gold, is a game where you seek treasure that is presumably made of gold. The title says it all, but a first glance at the title probably wouldn’t make you think it was a game starring a young girl as she rifles through her Grandmother’s old stuff. It’s a hidden object game, and it’s a genre that translates really well to a touch screen device. It’s not all just hidden object eye-straining glory though. There are a few puzzles interspersed throughout to break up the monotony of scrutiny.

This hidden object game takes advantage of the iPad's display with highly detailed and beautifully drawn levels in which players will have to search for different sets of items.

Players get to engage in several minigames in between levels, adding a touch of uniqueness to a well made game, both visually and gameplay wise, for the iPad.
