The entire aim of violent video games is to commit violent acts in order to gain a reward. Obviously, it is not as simple as monkey see, monkey do or we would all be running around shooting prostitutes and collecting rings in an attempt to stay alive."

This is why I feel like the live action stuff in Alan Wake 2 especially is pretty bad. It also looks really cheap and amateurish.
