Mukyou.com's PC Review: Magic the Gathering: Tactics

Mukyou.com's review of Magic the Gathering: Tactics.

Initial quote from reviewer "I remember the days of playing Magic the Gathering with friend and in tournaments when I was younger. Many fond memories and hundreds of dollars spent, that would only be reclaimed when I sold off my collection when I moved back to LA. These whimsical days when being a multi-player gamer meant you had to face your opponent face to face, in a battle of luck and wits rather than reaction time and graphics. I am sorry to say those times are officially dead."

not one comment only approvals? lol

I don't think there is really anything to comment on. Gonna go out on a limb and say that the site doesn't have enough Magic players perhaps? Either way being a bit of one myself. I don't see why we can't just have a game where it actually lets us customize our decks according to the rules.

The last one was interesting but virtually no customization. I thought this one would be interesting, but...I don't even think I want to finish :(

Here's a comment: In the review you're using entire sentences with ALL CAPS, confusing you're with your, misspelling words, and it's generally unreadable. If you want to be taken seriously, sharpen up your writing chops.

Fixed the "you're", did not see I did that, the misspelling of words was not found, maybe I need to proof read better? Generally unreadable? Really.

Anyway thanks for pointing out the "You're" issue.

Shame

Well hopefully they do right by whats left

MadLad474d ago

Disappointing.
We could use a few more D&D titles on shelves.

The only major one out there right now is Baldur's Gate 3.

Gameseeker_Frampt474d ago

Well they did a very good job of handling Magic the Gathering's 30th Anniversary. The 4 packs of proxy cards for $1000 was so well received last year that Hasbro stock price dropped 40%.

Poor dev. The game is in him.

YourMommySpoils933d ago

Wouldn't be so bad if it's a digital release. If it's physical, that crap's going to hurt.

Majin-vegeta938d ago

G.i Joe War rios from Koei would be nice

thorstein938d ago (Edited 938d ago )

I want an XCom style GI Joe game and one for Transformers too!

WoTC's New Game Studio Is Almost Entirely Ex-BioWare Staff

The more people that Archetype Entertainment hires, the more it looks like Wizards of the Coast is just trying to recreate BioWare.

The mass exodus of Bioware staff as of the last year or so makes more and more sense lol
It was just running from Anthem; it was running from EA as a whole and, for many, to Archetype. This I like. What would be really amazing would be seeing one of the original Bioware founders leaving their retirement from games and taking a creative lead role at this new developer.

annoyedgamer1523d ago

I see nothing wrong with this...on the contrary, I am looking forward to their next project.

sprinterboy1522d ago

So basically the actual bioware of old

Relientk771522d ago

Sounds good to me, excited to see the game they're working on.

ThunderGod_Cid1522d ago

Going by what a few other sources have said, it’s a Sci-fi space adventure RPG where your decisions shape your journey (basically the spiritual successor to Mass Effect)
