Call of Duty: Black Ops First Strike map pack now available….a fine example of greed?

The very expensive but nonetheless sure to be hugely popular First Strike map pack is now available for download on PS3 and XBLA.

With 4 multiplayer maps and an additional zombie based map included, I’m sure it’ll present hours upon hours of gameplay for the millions upon millions of Black Ops fans out there. Still, as much as I’m sure that it’ll go down a treat with fans of Black Ops, I’m nevertheless convinced that Activision are taking gamers to the cleaners simply on the basis of the huge popularity of the game.

100% true F*** activision and any product they sell.

The article says "available for download on PS3 and XBLA. ", But we all know Activision and Treyarch fucked over the PS3 this year, literally.

Sony should just ban Treyarch games as a whole.

Persistantthug3796d ago

And Sony doesn't pay....therefore the PS3 version is the worst version and will continue to be the worst version of all Call Of Duty games.

What I hope is that PS3 gamers will wise up and stop buying this crap every single year, otherwise the same treatment will continue.

Sad I'm a cashier I had to ring 20+ people up for MS points today.

You know there is simple solution to this...if you think it's too expensive don't buy it. Then when Activision will have to respond with lower prices.

It's actually not available on the PlayStation Store...

And I mean that sincerely. The additional wait until the payed timed exclusivity ends is just more time for Playstation 3 owners to read feedback on the map pack and deliberate further on whether to purchase or not.

Let the MS sycophants get screwed ahead of everyone else. It isn't the first and it won't be the last time.

Droidbro3796d ago (Edited 3796d ago )

MS may have payed for timed exclusivity (who cares, they're in business to make money. BTW, so is Sony) but at least they got the version of the game that actually works. The problem here isn't MS or Sony. It is Fagivision. I think all gamers can agree with that and the customers should stop giving in to rushed COD products.

More then likely it was not a payment transaction. It was likely some form of service transaction to get the timed advantage.
