Gaming Target endures Lopez Tonight to bring you the MLB2K11 Brian Wilson commcercial

We sat through an entire episode of Lopez Tonight to watch San Fransisco Giants pitcher Brian Wilson pitch MLB 2K11 on the midnight-seen late night show.

Luckily, here's a clip WITHOUT much of George Lopez's awful, awful jokes. Skip to 5:45 into the video for the commercial if you can't even endure 5 minutes of Lopez interviewing Brian Wilson:

This was hilarious! Gotta love B.Weez. Can't wait for the season to start.

Best funny man pitcher I've ever seen. George Lopez... not so much.

This franchise should just give it up. MLB The Show eats it's lunch and drinks it's milk shake every time.

Obviously you haven't even given 2K10 a shot since it was a vast improvement for the series, reviewers and gamers who've played it agree.

Also, it's very likely that you haven't realized "The Show" is a PlayStation exclusive. You might want to sit down for this but gamers on the Xbox 360, PC, Wii, etc like Baseball too and frankly, 2K has stepped up its game with the franchise.

Did you ever play a season of the show AND a season of 2k10? Do you play league ball every summer and fall? How big of a baseball fan are you?

I am a huge bball fan and I do all of the above. They can make all the improvements they want each year is the same old thing. All you have to do is try both for one season and you will see it is inferior to the show. If that is not enough and Metacritic is your king then check that.

I am just stating a fact, which is confirmed annually by every review sites available.

Maybe you want to sit down for this but the game sucks compared to MLB the SHOW. And to add insult to injury they lose money on this franchise every year and their deal with MLB is ending in 2012 and chances are they won't renew. Check the link out and... make sure you are sitting down when you read this if you are a fan of this decidedly inferior baseball simulator.

I never said 2K was better than The Show, I'm saying it deserves far more credit than you and other The Show fanboys give the game. Visual Concepts has improved the series quite a bit, this is coming from someone who survived 2K8, 2K9, etc.

2K sales are tanking? Duh! Before 2K10 released the series wasn't really that good, it was years since a good 2K baseball game was released. Sales began to dip every year, now that the series has started improving sales will eventually begin to pick up again. It sucks that 2K figured out the formula so late but at least they are on the right track now. If VC keeps it up, MLB 2K can certainly be a true competitor to The Show once again.

Whether 2K decides to renew the license depends largely on how well 2K11 and 2K12 review/sell IMO. Pretty much everyone has said the team is on the right track now after 2K10 in terms of getting the series back on its feet.

And for the record, I used to be a huge fan of baseball back in the day, would join a league every season. I don't have as much time now but I still try to play a game when ever I can get people together.

Favorite teams are the Yankees and Blue Jays. ;)
