T-Hill writes: Epic, kick ass action, silky smooth frame rate and wicked fun game play all wrapped up in a scorched bow. These are just a few terms to describe Bulletstorm and after my time with the demo it’s now a day one purchase for me.
This game looks wild, I really didn't expect it to be this good but I'm excited now!
this games a good rent I'll save the big bucks for killzone.
Man, I'm going ALL IN that day, I'm getting this, KZ3, AND DE BLOB! WHAT!
I preordered Bulletstorm from Amazon. It says just Bulletstorm, but the pic is Epic Edition and so does my order. It says bonus offer. "Special Pre-Order Upgrade Offer For a limited time, pre-order Bulletstorm and receive a free upgrade to Bulletstorm - Epic Edition, which contains the full version of Bulletstorm plus early access to the Gears of War 3 beta, Peace Maker Carbine, boots and armor, 25,000 experience points, and visual upgrades for the iconic leash. Pre-order offer ends on February 21, 2011." I really hope I'm getting the EPIC EDITION. That's what I want. I preordered LBP2 and never got my Ratchet & Clank and Animal costumes.
"I really hope I'm getting the EPIC EDITION. That's what I want. I preordered LBP2 and never got my Ratchet & Clank and Animal costumes." You can contact Amazon about that can't you? I contacted them about a missing $20 credit and they gave me $40 in credit.
thats why i hate ordering stuff online that includes bonus items/content. at retail, if there is a problem you have the chance to go back into the store and ask wtf is up.
Not impressed at all .......Killzone 3 triumph over this easily!
It's not really comparable. Okay sure they're both FPS games, but Bulletstorm doesn't take itself seriously. It's about ripping apart your enemies with skill and having a blast. KZ3 is all business. It's way too serious. Which is fine if you like that, but I'm tired of that.
the demo was a borefest....getting points for killing different ways...can you honestly think you want to sit through 13-20 levels and doing basically the same kills over and over...sounds great but when I play the demo I cant see myself doing that.
You kind of nailed my fear with this game. I was really into it on the first run. Then, about half way through the second run I got bored. Even though I was discovering new ways to "kill with skill" I found that I wasn't really having that much fun. I guess maybe this is just one of those games that sounded better to me on paper than it actually worked out to be. Then again, maybe it's just this particular demo isn't doing justice to the entire game.
