Gamernode News: Rumor: Hsien-Ko and Sentinel Outed for MvC3

Ladies and gentlemen, if a German magazine is to be believed, the final Marvel vs Capcom 3 on-disc roster sits at 36.

Pictures starting hitting the web from the latest issue of Consol Plus (homepage here) showing Hsien-Ko from Darkstalkers and Marvel's giant robotic Sentinel joining the MvC3 party. Skeptics on forums around the Web called the photos into question; however, a video has surfaced of a person with the magazine in hand, clearly showing this magazine to be legit.

Very interesting. I don't think I'm a fan of the large Sentinel being playable though. Never really liked them as characters in the comics. Kinda bland characters if you ask me. Unless you're talking about the more advanced, unique ones like Bastion.

Stupid Capcom, how are you gonna say leave out so many other great characters so Sentinel can get in? No body likes Sentinel outside of MvC2, and if he isn't overpowered no one will like him in MvC3.

As for Hsein-Ko, how are you going to have 3 Darkstalker characters while every other game has a max of 2(Not counting Street Fighter). Does Capcom really think Darkstalkers is their biggest franchise? Bigger than Devil May Cry, Megaman, and Resident Evil? The only way this will make sense is if they announce a Darkstalkers reboot some time this/next year.

Of course! They're going to be either DLC you have to pay for, or they'll be in SUPER MARVEL VS CAPCOM 3. Capcom = Greed

It's not a rumor anymore if they article is legit.
so, It's already confirmed.

While I agree with you, until Capcom officially comes out with the reveal, I can't say that it's official, even though it's been published. Sounds silly, but it's true.

Every Marvel vs. Capcom Character, Together At Last

Artist Chris Cayco, who we’ve featured a few times before on Kotaku, grew up playing Marvel vs. Capcom (and Marvel vs. Street Fighter) games. His tribute to this, which took him over 175 hours, was to combine every single character to ever appear in Capcom’s crossover series in the one enormous image.

Every Capcom Vs. Game Ranked

As common as it is today, it is hard to believe that there was a time where gaming franchises crossing over was just a pipe dream. Capcom broke down the wall, but they took the combination of some of the most unlikely of franchises and made it the norm.

Whether it was a colossal successful partnership with Marvel Comics or a collaboration with rivals Namco and SNK, the “Vs.” series brought unforgettable experiences to the fighting genre.
