Xbox LIVE Currently Suffering Connection Issues

The online gaming and social network for the Xbox 360 and Windows Phone 7, Microsoft’s Xbox LIVE, is currently suffering from some severe connection issues. A number of gamers from both North America and European territories have reported issues connecting to the network, and the issue has become so significant that Microsoft have begun discussing the in-progress fix.


UPDATE: Microsoft representatives are now reporting that the connection issues have been resolved.

I was wondering what was going on! Things were going fine on FIFA and suddenly the game sort of jump-freezed (if that makes any sense...), continued for a few seconds and then just stopped.

Hopefully this gets fixed quickly. You guys pay for your Live service and you expect it to be stable, so I understand your anger. No love for the fan-boys though. Cross platform love baby! - From a PS3 player.

I don't know how paying for Xbox Live gives you more to complain about, you'd still be paying for the game and system that isn't functioning as advertised. Xbox Live is just an annoying middleman.

A PS3, Wii and PC gamer here.

I wholeheartedly agree with this post. I hope many of the other PS3/Wii/PC users look at this from the same perspective.
