Secret Level Episode 5 - 5 Things For The PSP2

Sony is set to make waves with the potential announcement of the Playstation Portable 2 (PSP2) and/or the Sony Ericsson ‘Playstation’ Phone at their Playstation Meeting Event this January 27, 2011 in Tokyo, Japan. Among other reports, the PSP2 is surrounded by compelling rumors that it will possess processing power capable of producing PS3-level graphics. Compelling indeed, and in light of this I put together a list of 5 things that should be featured once this console releases hopefully in the Fall season of this year. In addition, I provide my impressions for Mass Effect 2, and give a big shoutout to the Bubbalon team!

Yeah I had every PSP system. The PSP is fatastic however I always wished for a second stick, intergrated friendslist, and trophies. If that could be added....WOW

Apple will have to worry about psp2, a few features that sony is bringing to the table are exclusive to their product and their product only.

should be interesting to see how Sony takes over the handheld business after a successful PSP machine. 50 plus million sold and counting

I hope Sony introduces a cloud based system for the psp2. Not having to carry around discs with my "portable" system would be awesome.

PSP2 will never reach to ps3 this just fantasy

if PSP2 will reach to ps3 power so simply psp2 will be than 2500$

because portable device will never compared to consle have blu-ray drive , cell pro and have weight than 3 Kg , use big private scoiety network (PSN) , hardrive capacity and can display 3D with FHD res

of course all these points need good power source not small batteries

Can any company in this world offer this in this decade too the public with good price for all gamer ?

It doesn't have to reach the power of a ps3 to be able to produce the graphics of the ps3. The 2 factors that will make it able to produce ps3 graphics is:

1.) twice the ram
2.) smaller screen.

They never reported it would be exact PS3-level graphics, but because of the screen and processor the results will be comparable. If you look at the current PSP and the 3DS, real talk there is not that much difference...
